Throughout the time Ambrose has been open we have developed and expanded and now pride ourselves on the way we have taken on Birth to Three Matters and we look forward to introducing the new Early Years foundation stage for children 0 - 5 in the coming months.
The nursery is set on two levels:
Snuggle & Grow and Little Explorers is downstairs in our open plan room which is able to take up to 45 under 3's.
Sunshine Room is upstairs, with four areas: Main Room, Craft & Messy area, Computer & Science room and Sensory room which can take up to 36 children from approx 2 1/2 years to 5
All our staff are trained to plan and deliver the Birth to Three Matters and foundation stage curriculum and through structured and spontaneous play our staff give the children a unique learning experience with opportunities to explore, investigate and make their own choices.
We want parents to leave their children confident about the care they will receive
We want our staff to meet the differing needs of each child
To achieve this we need as much parental involvement as possible and your child's key worker is there to create that bond with you and your child to achieve these objectives.
Information between nursery and home and vice versa is communicated in many ways.
