Babies are competent learners from birth and we aim to develop, stimulate and encourage each child by introducing your baby to a variety of experiences, involving all the senses, within their nursery environment.
No two days are the same with all the fun packed activities our staff have to offer; from painting pictures and making their marks, to getting messy in the cornflour.
Through play we aim to develop a wide range of your child's skills, celebrating both their attempts and their achievements to give them confidence in themselves to reach their goals.
Babies have their own routines and in our baby room we value these, we offer flexibility to cater for each individual child's needs.

Activities that our Little Explorers enjoy include Natural Play with shells and sand; Malleable Play, getting messy with the blue spaghetti and making their own playdough; Role Play in the home corner and dressing up, Art's and Craft's and Baking; and Outdoor Play in our new all weather shelters, activity centre and the back yard has plenty of room to scoot around on the bicycles and cars.
The children in this room have routines which help them gain a sense of order in the world and anticipate events.

All children learn and develop in different ways and at different rates and through observations and planning our staff will support each child through the Early Years Foundation Stage's six areas, which are:
- Personal social and emotional development
